Oakley & Rex 2.8.25 Golden Girls Litter - Week 6
Each personality is so unique. All are lovers, but the spunk level in a couple of these girls is ridiculously funny. So far, two are rather quiet and laid back while the other two want to live life to its fullest - right NOW, ha! Their coats are silky and plush - all the better for snuggle buggle time.
Oakley & Rex 2.8.25 Golden Girls Litter - Week 5
Being a small litter, Ever After kept the little ladies upstairs for an additional week. The one-on-one litter training and playtime is easier in the more intimate setting. The pups had lots of toys with different textures and sounds. Visitors were more than happy to love-on the babies. One of the grandsons thought kisses to puppies should include a tongue from him too - yuck, ha! Oakley loves hanging with the girls and wrestling with them. The main activities at this age are napping, eating/nursing, romping/wrestling, chewing on everything as the baby teeth come in, then back to napping.
Oakley & Rex 2.8.25 Golden Girls Litter - Week 4
As promised, week 4 was all about introducing our four Australian Labradoodle girls to porridge. Blanche received the award for best eater - by a long shot. The others were resistant to change. However, all would agree that Mother’s milk was and is the best dessert to their taste buds. Appeasing her littles was no problem for Oakley.

Well aren’t these little girls adorable! Since sleeping is still high on the list of daily chores, getting photos with eyes open like this is actually no easy feat. The lighting in the room must have changed during Dorothy’s picture. Her red fur looks more chocolate. Hey, we never claimed to be professional photographers; so enjoy the embellishments when the pictures don’t come out perfectly;) We asked the gals if they wanted to start porridge this week. They answered with a clear, “NO! Mamma’s milk! Mamma’s milk!…” Plump as they are, we were fine to wait until week four. At night, dreams are sometimes answered with the cutest beginner barks. Love them!
Oakley & Rex 2.8.25 Golden Girls Litter - Week 2
The miracles of week two - eyes open (ears to soon follow), nighttime chirping, nose and paw pad colors filling in, wobbly practice legs - just never grow old. Oakley is proving to be the most attentive mother. The little girls adore her right back. The puppies spend most of their time sleeping, nursing, then back to sleeping. Oakley spends most of her time hovering.

For arriving early, the puppies sure had healthy weights. Oakley was amazing! All four girls are strong nursers. The coat colors are an apricot/red mix - beautiful! Listed are their birth weights and fun litter names:)
